I am a high-energy, smitten husband to my lovely, bookish, and supportive wife Rachel. We have an incredible 5-year-old daughter with twin boy & girl toddlers. My little family is spreading our roots in a small suburb just outside Philadelphia. We love our 100 year old home and all its quirks, hosting a good party, the beach, reading, and eating at Olive Garden probably a little too much.
Other little things about me are that I love the color combination blue and yellow, kettlebells, running, building stuff, watching Bluey with my little ones, vegetarian food, a good fitting pair of jeans, and all things Harry Potter. (My wife and I even planned our honeymoon around the Harry Potter world at Universal Studios.) My brain runs at 1,000 miles an hour. I have a new-found enjoyment of writing (I didn’t say I’m any good at it though).
And I’ve made quite a few friends a long the way. One of the unique things about me as a wedding phoographer is that I’m as along for the journey, not just the wedding day. It’s why I keep getting to see past couples when they show up at my current weddings!
Together, my friend and amazing wedding coordinator, Danielle Pasternak of DPNAK events co-hosted the Put A Ring On it Podcast, a wedding planning podcast, for over 5 years. The latest project is hosting a podcast for photographers where I coach them how to build a great client experience and find meaning in their photography.
Weddings started in the Lehigh Valley before the transition to Philadelphia in late 2012 and now include regular trips to New York City and New Jersey. I’m very fortunate that weddings have taken me to 6 different countries and over 10 states!
My favorite part about being a wedding photographer is the stories I hear from couples 2, 5, 10+ years down the road as they flip their their wedding album and relive their wedding day.
