Karen and John’s engagement session was in the beginning of last December so this post a little while coming! I had an awesome time with the two of them- Karen looked great especially with the awesome red hat she rocked, and I love that John was so enamored with Karen and that he kept snuggling up to her and making her laugh. My favorite part was easily the time spent near the Boat Basin on the swings! Like watching two kids having a blast without a care in the world- pure fun!

I LOVE the image below.

So excited MyWedding.com chose an image from Ashley & Carl’s camping themed engagement session for the front page slideshow of their website! Check out their site at www.MyWedding.com. You can find tons of awesome vendors, get inspired, and create your own wedding website. While you are browsing you can show me some love on my profile by clicking the “Love” button!

I had an awesome time with Meghan and Marc! I love when I get to work in the city with a couple simply because there ends up being so much walking and walking equals talking! I was great to be able to walk around with them and talk about everything from their wedding coming up in June at the Memorial Hall at the Please Touch Museum (super excited!) to how Marc proposed with this amazing scrap book he created of the photographs of the two of them over their relationship which culminated with an image of him on his knee (there’s a beautiful image of the two of them looking at it below and a photo of the final page of the book).
Meghan and March- it was lovely to be around the two of you. I am thrilled to be seeing you again so soon! Can’t wait!

I love the look Meghan is giving Marc below- its that “you are one of a kind, what would I do with you look.”

Talk about covering a lot of ground during an engagement session! Tara, Tim and I were all over the place! We started in Ken Lockwood Gorge where we chatted and walked along the trail there for a good 30 minutes before turning back! There was a great little river with huge boulders jutting out into it and a little bridge that provided a resting spot and great photographs! From there we headed a short distance to the Califon Farm Market & Orchard. We simply could not take a bad photo with the beutiful fall colors, and that late day Autumn sun! It was so perfect and fitting for the two of them and the plans they have for their wedding coming up this June! A backyard ceremony and reception in a wooded area that Tara and Tim are clearing out. It is going to be a blast!
After the orchard, we skipped over to Clinton where we found a few really great night images to round out our day!

Just had to post a quick sneak peek from my session with Karen and John in NYC! I cannot wait to post the whole session!

I have so many great photographs to post and Carin and Patrick are next! The image above was the 3rd last frame I shot during my session with Carin and Patrick, but it is easily my favorite from their session! We were looking for a nice sunset photo of them with the city, but the clouds that evening had different plans. Had it not been for the clouds, we would not have gotten this, so everything worked out wonderfully!

We had such an awesome time walking around Hoboken! Carin and Patrick laugh so much which made my job so easy! Just check out the series of them sitting in front of the blue “Hoboken” wall. Big smiles on their faces, completely in love with each other, and thrilled about it! So much fun!

I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding in September at Terraview at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn!

Ha! I am pretty sure I said, “act natural” and they just started cracking up!

This was an incredibly cute and fun engagement session- a little crazy too!

Let me introduce Allison and Tommy! In the weeks leading up to their session we spent time contacting vineyards because they really wanted to have their session at one. (I should mention they LOVE wine!) So the day finally came, a little overcast with a chance of rain but it ended up being beautiful out! When we got to Franklin Hill, everyone was so nice! They even carted us out to a great spot overlooking the entire vineyard! Allison had planned a TON of details and brought lots of props for a little picnic. It was going to be really great! When we walked down into the rows a little to start setting up we were immediately swarmed by bugs! It had rained the day before which left it a little muggy and the bugs loved it. So we moved a few rows down and the same thing happen!

We called an audible and packed up to head over to Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem! That turned out to be great, despite a little soggy ground. They had a little wine and a little picnic with cheeses, fruit, and fluffernutter sandwiches! Perfect! To round out their session we headed over to downtown Bethlehem and photographed for a little then had a great little meal at Thai Thai II.

All in all I say it was a lovely day and I am thrilled for their wedding in May!

The hearts cut in the sandwiches were all Allison’s idea! I love it!

So, I have so many great blog posts to get on here, but I had to start somewhere, so here is Brian and Jewel’s engagement session! This was way too much fun! We had the opportunity to go to Brian’s grandfathers farm and spend some time walking around. We were in hay lofts, corn feeders, on tractors, in barns, laying in the ground, it was just a blast. Even though I got some poop on me, I was pretty excited because I got to shoot from the front of a moving tractor!
Brian and Jewel’s wedding is December 17th of this year. We are really, really hoping for snow. That would be amazing!
Anyway, enjoy these!

Brittany and Morgan are a great team! They were a super good time to work with! We spent a couple hours photographing and walking around a beautiful old house and estate right in the middle of Allentown. They met at East Stroudsburg University, both playing sports. Brittany played basketball and Morgan played football! So for their Save-the-Date, Brittany had the idea to create a ticket. So I designed a customize ticket for them, with their jersey numbers as the Row# and Seat#. Its pretty cool! I included the digital copy at the bottom of the post.
Check it out!

Here’s a few favorites from their session. Enjoy!

Please meet Jess and Tony!
We got together a couple weeks ago for an awesome engagement session, spending hours walking and driving around Valley Forge Park.
The fields there are so expansive.  There is so much open space! It was a photographers dream come true! The two of them were so much fun to work! They were down for anything, including lying in the tall grass (in a deer nest from what Tony told me), walking long distances through fields and through some really tall brush. It made for really great photographs!
Tony just started training to be a Police officer, so best of luck to him! I am super excited for their wedding next October!

Jess did not wear shoes the entire time. It was great!

Thank you!
