I must admit that every little moment of a wedding inspires me! From the energy of the public moments- your first kiss and first dance, to the quietness of the private moments- mom helping her daughter with the final touches on her dress. The fact that I have been given this opportunity and all the trust that comes with it is what motivates me, sends goosebumps up my arms.

I have an extremely personal approach to photographing weddings. For me there is no better way to capture a wedding day than to be immersed in a couple’s relationship; two people with enough love to commit the rest of their lives to each other, surrounded and supported by their loving families and enthusiastic friends. By the time we get to your wedding, after all the planning, emailing, calling, meeting, and preparing we do, it feels like  I am seeing old friends. And my couples have told me they feel the same. It comes down to when my couples realize that I share every bit of their excitement, when they are comfortable with me, when they trust me, when they see I am just as excited as they are their wedding day is finally here- that’s when I can become more than just your wedding photographer. That’s when the best photographs are created- the beautiful ones you would expect and the extraordinary ones you have never dreamed of.
