Katie & Jason | Vault 634

I’ve known Katie for a long time. My cousin Ryan is married to Katie’s sister, Michelle, and they started dating in high school. I also photographed Katie’s sister Tiff’s wedding in 2011 on the Odyssey National Harbor and the Gaylord Hotel. During Tiff’s wedding, while the wedding party was walking to the reception, Katie then single, said to me, you’re going to photograph my wedding someday. I think it’s going to be overseas though. Maybe a destination wedding!”

Katie & Jason met in Iowa and grew closer when they became running buddies.. They now live in Tennessee but married at Vault 634, a beautiful new venue renovated from an old bank, in the heart of Allentown, PA. So in a way, I suppose it was a destination wedding for them!

Katie and Jason’s wedding was the perfect blend of their lively and fun relationship built on the foundation of history, tradition and family. Zion United Church of Christ is the 250 year old church they got married in and Vault 634 is the 130 year old home of the Lehigh Valley Trust that is now restored and renovated as a beautiful event space. Those two historical building were the perfect back drop for their celebration that included endless laughs, tears, toasts, dancing, and catching up of old friends. They had a truly amazing wedding day!  I’m so thankful I got to share it with them and their families and see their first day as husband and wife! Enjoy!
